Back to School Information
As we look ahead to next school year, make sure you have these important dates on your calendar.
Wednesday, August 8 – Information Day:
Join the Link PTA in the gym from 9:00AM-12:00PM or 6:00-8:00PM to gather information about the upcoming school year, including: spirit wear, hot lunch, milk orders, room volunteers, etc. The PTA will also be showcasing their new website.
New this year… A special presentation will be held for parents of 5th and 6th grade students regarding Chromebooks at 10:00AM and again at 6:30PM. Come to either of the identical presentations to hear about acceptable usage, student responsibilities and insurance options. This year, students will be bringing home their Chromebooks each night.
Thursday, August 16 – Back To School Night & Curriculum Night
Back to School Night and Curriculum Night are now on the same night! Come by anytime from 6:00-6:30PM to visit the classroom, meet your teacher and drop off all of your school supplies. You can also enjoy food trucks in the parking lot!
Beginning at 6:30PM, teachers will begin a formal presentation about the content and expectations for the school year. Teachers will repeat their presentations from 7:00-7:30PM. Following the formal presentations in the classrooms, there will be a general session with Mr. Wulbecker in the gym for all parents from 7:30-745PM.
Monday, August 20 – First Day of School for 1st – 6th Grade Students
The first bell rings at 8:35, so plan on arriving between 8:20 and 8:35. The students will line up outside for the first day. Dismissal will be at 3:00.
Monday, August 27 – First day of School for Kindergarten Students
All kindergarten students have the same arrival and dismissal time as the 1st-6th grade students. Students will line up outside the main entrance with their teacher.
