We are excited that District 54 will celebrate our first ever International Dot Day on Wednesday, September 16.  This day began from the book The Dot by well-known author Peter H. Reynolds.  His book, The Dot, celebrates creativity, collaboration and bravery and encourages us to “Make our Mark” no matter how small we start!  Although this is a student non-attendance day, activities and ideas will be shared across all grade levels and all buildings district wide. Our school will also have a padlet where students can share a picture, post or video of their creation or act.  You’ll be able to access the interactive link for activities tomorrow, Wednesday, September 16. We hope you’ll join us and share how YOU decide to make YOUR mark and share YOUR creativity!  We can’t wait to see where these ideas take YOU!
