Each spring, students in District 54 take federally mandated assessments (IAR) designed to help school districts understand how our students are growing academically. This year, the English Language Arts and Math Assessment for grades 3rd-8th will be given at school between April 5 and April 22.
Students in 3rd-6th grades will take three English/Language Arts assessments, completing one session on each day from Tuesday, April 5 through Thursday, April 7. Students will take three math assessments on Tuesday, April 12 through Thursday, April 14. Students in 5th grade will also complete three science assessments on Monday, April 18-Wednesday, April 20.
