On Monday, October 31, we will be celebrating Halloween by having our Annual Costume Parade and Halloween Room Parties.   In order to ensure the safety of all our students, we will be using the following guidelines for our school celebration.

In choosing an appropriate costume for your child, please adhere to the following guidelines:

No costumes depicting violence (no fake blood, please)
No weapons or “look-alikes” of any kind (toy guns, plastic swords, etc.)
Keep make-up to a minimum (there is only a short time given to students to get into costumes, so save the best for trick-or-treating)
No one may wear make-up or costumes to school in the morning
Be certain that your child can see through his/her mask
Students will be responsible for putting on their own costumes after lunch.  Please do not send you child in his/her costume in the morning.

Our Halloween parade will begin at 1:00 PM.   We will begin at the front entrance of the school and make our way around the entire building, finishing back at the main entrance. All parade spectators are asked to remain outside for the duration of the parade.

Halloween room parties will begin immediately following the parade and end by 2:30PM.  If you are volunteering in a classroom, please sign in on the sheet in the front hallway at 1:00PM.   Only those people that are on the volunteer list in the main office will be allowed to help at the party. Head room representatives will be coordinating parent volunteers.

Due to various allergies present in our classrooms, we will once again require that you refrain from sending any edible treats to school for your child to pass out to his/her classmates.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation and we hope all our students have a fun and safe Halloween this year!
